Great product, lacking instructions.
Quality of the product is 5 stars. The Rostra instructions are general in nature, and it's easy to get confused. Had the installation instructions on Insight Central not been available (http://www.insightcentral.net/owners/mods/cruise1.htm), it would have taken 2X as long, and I might have had to call The Cruise Control Store for Support. I used the steel bracket provided rather than fabricating my own as the other's have. If you have a CVT, the only thing you'll use out of the Insight adapter package is the cable stand-off, washers and cotter pins. If you have a CVT, there are two switches attached to the brake pedal. You are concerned with the one on the left side (as seated in car). There are warnings about proper slack in the actuator cable. It is also imperative that you sandwich the cable pull between two washers and make sure the cotter pin is bent and folded tight to the shaft. My cotter pin snagged the cable and removed slack after my wife climbed a big hill causing the car to idle at 3000 rpm. Once convinced I wasn't trying to collect on her life insurance, my wife is thrilled with the product. For an aftermarket option, it works very well as configured per the Insight Central instructions. My wife's mileage went up about 2mpg after installation. Her comfort and driving pleasure doubled. I highly recommend this product.
