This is a genuine OEM Ford upgrade cruise control kit for the 2006-2009 Ford Crown Victoria. All Crown Victoria's came with OEM cruise control except for the Police Cruiser models. This kit is applicable to them. Dealer programming is required. Your vehicle can NOT have any brake or ABS lights on in the dash for this cruise control to function. Please call with any questions regarding this complete cruise control kit.

Works great so far. As well as the bullet-proof CC on my F-350.
My mechanic had a computer guy, so the installation went well. Also disabled "dark car."
Only minor beef. The On/Off switch sits a little high for my left thumb, but that can be lived with. They were fascinated byn the strange stuff in a P71.

Same as per Review #1.
I own a 2007 P71 Interceptor without cruise control. All local big city dealers did not want to touch it and kept trying to sell me parts even though I confirmed that all needed parts (throttle body servo, brake disconnect switch, etc.) were already in place. One wanted $160 to just diagnose! One quoted all new parts and labor at $1,600.00!
I bought this kit and had local independent mechanic pull old wheel and install this one. Took 30 minutes (mostly to discharge power from airbag) and I was on the road. I found a rural Ford dealer willing to try. It took them 10 minutes to enable cruise control. The software IS in your PCM - they just need to enable it. It took me longer to pay the bill of $105.00.
This kit, wheel install and Ford dealer = all done for $514.00
If you have a CVPI in this year range - this is the wheel to buy.

The big Ford dealer in the City said no way could it be done. Found a dealer in a small town willing to try. Ordered the kit, took it to the dealer and had cruise operational in 90 minutes.
