We had major issues with the directions. Had an experienced tech help with the install and said the instructions were horrible and too vague. I have a 2008 Chevy Aveo5 that I installed this kit on and I could not have been happier! I have the base Aveo that is nothing more than a steering wheel and a stick shift. No A/C or any other bells and whistles. I called the Cruise Control Store up and talked to a live person that assured me that this kit would work on my car. The instructions weren't too bad and it was fairly simple and quick to install. After installing I found that even though the green light was on the control switch the cruise would not work. So I ended up rechecking my connections and found that the ground was not making good enough contact. I had used the clip connectors that came with the kit and it made for a nice clean look but they failed to cut into the wire good enough to make contact with the bare wire. I tried to use the clips one more time and still had the same problem so I spliced the wires and bare wired them together and put electrical tape around it. Problem solved and it works GREAT! Looks nice and clean and almost factory. You can not go wrong with this kit. I bought mine from Cruise Control Shop but through Ebay which saved me around $70.

The product works great. So grateful to have cruise control on my standard transmission Chevy Aveo.

It is extremely easy to install. For the 2010 Chevy Aveo the instructions are vague but you have to connect the Red 12v wire to the pink wire in the ECM. Works like a champs because it works off wire and not cable. *Red wire to pink at the back of the fuse box.
