The 250-4165 is a VSS magnet kit with pick up coil. Normal rear wheel drive domestic installation would take a single magnet on the drive shaft with a pickup coil mounted aprox 5/8 inch away.

Strong Magnets
Had to put magnets on because my car is to old to have VSS, first time I ever put magnets on the drive shaft but so far it works good.
