This is a universal cruise control switch that mounts on the left hand side of the steering column. It attaches to the plastic shroud that surrounds the column. The 250-3742 has a green L.E.D on/off indicator light as well as separate on/off, set and resume buttons. It is an "open circuit" control switch designed to be used in conjunction with the 250-1223 electronic cruise control kit. This is are most popular cruise switch when installing cruise into the newer vehicles that have the plastic shroud around the column.

Excellent product
The two most difficult parts of the installation were finding a location for the module and (MOST DIFFICULT) connecting the brake switch wires. This was due to my age/size and the location of the switch - definitely NOT a problem with the product. Installation instructions were complete and easy to understand. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

off on button
thus item works well but the off on button could be a bit more positive it some times will not turn on with a tap you have to tap it a number of times for it to turn on . other then that it is great.
