Instructions for Installing a Kit
- Find the cruise control switch mounted on the plastic shroud that surrounds the steering column, then find the T-harness that goes to the accelerator position center at the gas pedal. Being sure to keep the wires away from the steering shaft, solder the ignition power into a true ignition power source—it is a white or tan wire with purple. There, put the red ignition wire.
- Pin the wires coming down from the switch into the two 3-pin connectors.
- Then, remove the OBD2 connector. Interface the red and black wire into the OBD2 connector. The red wire goes to pin 6, the white with a blue strip and the black wire will go to pin 14.
- Tie wrap the module and make sure that all of the wires are away from any moving parts.
