Product Description

This is a complete Rostra Cruise control kit for the 2015-2017 F150 . Step by step installation instructions included, and located below. Please call with any questions on this kit.

New features with the 9609-NS kit ;

  1. Cruise Control. Customers can enjoy the same relaxed driving experience provided by all other Rostra cruise control systems.
  2. Speed Limiter. This control switch provides access to a speed-limiting function that does not allow the vehicle to pass a desired set speed until the function is canceled while the driver is controlling their throttle manually. As an example, if a driver is in an unfamiliar area, they can accelerate the vehicle to the posted speed limit, engage the speed limiter, and the vehicle will ignore any throttle input above this set speed until canceled. This provides drivers with yet another way of fighting unintended speeding.
  3. Permanent Speed Memory. Rostra’s Electronic Cruise Control Modules include two permanent memory banks that provide long-term storage of preferred cruise control speeds. If a driver, for example, uses a certain stretch of highway each day, Rostra’s cruise control systems can now store their preferred speed in memory and the cruise control will accelerate or decelerate to that set speed once that memory button is pressed on the control switch.

    I installed myself on one morning. The only complaint is that the hole in the steering column needs to be a bit bigger than 3/8. All functions work as mentioned and the LED changes color to indicate condition of the unit. The speed and brake signal come from the OBD11 connector which plugs into the front. I mounted the control to a bracket under the dash. I have driven about 600 miles with the unit
