- Applicable to automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- If you have a 2008 Escape, make sure you have a throttle cable attached to the gas pedal, and not an electronic throttle.
- For electronic throttle models you will require the 250-1847 kit .
- NOT APPLICABLE TO THE 2.3 WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

Works great, but bad info in manual
I installed this in a reasonable amount of time but it wouldn't work at all. Tech was helpful but couldn't isolate my problem during the initial call because I had no one to help on my end. After doing a little research with a wiring diagram from my 2007 Escape's manual, and the Rostra help site, I found the VSS information included with the kit was wrong. I later told the Cruise Control Store so that they could fix the error. After I attached to the proper wire the controller work great.
