Toyota Tacoma 1995-2004 Complete Rostra Cruise Control Kit

Absolutely awesome, worked great with no issues. Wiring is a bear especially for the braking system, and the speed control wire which was connected to the speed odometer which required removing the dash components and wiring it to the speed odometer itself, but that was to be expected. This job is not for the faint of heart but the kit is incredible and works perfectly. Took a 3-state trip after install and loved every moment of not having my leg on the gas pedal. If you are mechanically inclined I highly recommend this product, it does not disappoint.

I always avoided these because I figured they would be a huge pain to install, in some applications they may be, but this was a breeze. I emailed the company asking what kit I would need and they sent me a link which had the correct kit, cruise switch, adapter plate and vehicle specific instructions. I didn’t have to reach out for any help once beyond that. I will absolutely be buying from them again if I have another vehicle I want to add cruise control to!

I wanted a cruise control for my 1994 Toyota Pickup that was going to look like a factory install and work like one too. This kit exceeded all those expectations. It comes in when it's supposed to, it maintains its speed just like a factory one would. If I didn't know any better I would think it had been on the truck all its life. I had a couple issues with finding the proper VSS wire but the technicians at The cruise control store were very patient and eager to help. Like the title says my foot never felt better because now the Rostra cruise control kit does all the work.

The instructions come in like four different sheets/booklets and are a little hard to follow. Once I figured it out, it went OK except for the VSS wire. The plugs on my ECM were different than the ones described in the instructions. I have white plugs instead of grey plugs and there was not 22-pin connector, more like 28.
