This is a complete Rostra cruise control kit for the 1988-2011 Ford Ranger. Applicable to automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Kit includes vehicle specific wiring information as well as universal installation instructions. Wiring information for exact year and engine sizes included. Please call with any questions regarding this complete cruise control kit. Installation of the "optional" clutch disengagement switch is difficult and very time consuming. We would only recommend installing the clutch switch for the VERY experienced installers.

Great in Many Ways
The For Ranger specific instructions were great. I watched a lot of YouTube for help with entering firewall and tapping into Accessory power and other things. A fuse tap would be a great addition to the kit. Works great, was easy to tie into throttle where the factory cruise would have been. Agree with others that the buttons on the control are pretty crappy. On the whole though, I love it!

Quality parts
The instructions which included specific wire colours for the Ranger are great. The details for connecting the servo to the throttle body are confusing. I mixed and matched and got it to work but took some thinking. The steering column control works well but good be improved with buttons that have a detent to indicate positive actuation. Technical support was excellent and the unit works superb !

There is some figuring out that happens, but once I got it installed it seems to work as described. Overall I'm happy with it
